MENOPAUSE: THE ADVENTURE

"Her grandmother, as she gets older, is not fading but rather becoming more concentrated."

-- Paulette Bates Alden

Hi Patrice,

The path to happiness and power often lies in merely shifting perspective. While many women bemoan menopause, we can open to new possibilities when we embrace it. I appreciated Vicky White's article on this. Hope you will too.

Menopause: the call towards your soul's adventure

Ohhh, that's opened a can of worms!

Here's the thing: Menopause -- you know, it's that 10 years or so that sort of creeps up on you, when you might be tempted to blame your hormones for all kinds of things, including finding your car keys in the fridge! Menopause is when everything you've hidden away (and often forgotten about) is made visible (and I'm not talking about car keys here). Things fall apart -- your life might become chaotic, it might now take a lot of energy to do what you used to be able to do easily. Relationships can change, you're feeling things strongly -- often painful things, you know something is missing -- but what, and where the heck is your passion for life?

What's happening?
