“We cannot bring order to
the world or to our lives as long as we fail to recognize that,
in reality, all human beings are holograms of humanity. We all
reflect the whole, and it is essential for us to begin to think
in this way.”
-- Wayne Dyer
When I’m feeling angry,
sad or anxious, I ask, “How much of this is mine?” When I ask
this question, a percent figure arrives in my head. Usually the
number is 30% or less.
Those of us who are
sensitive sometimes pick up on whatever emotional energy is
hanging around in the environment, and we begin to experience
those feelings. We may sometimes also experience physical
symptoms that are similar to, or symbolic of, someone else’s
experience. It feels like ours – we really do feel the emotions
or physical or mental symptoms. But really, we are processing
‘generic’ emotion or physical or mental symptoms that belong to
others or to humanity as a whole.
I’m usually relieved to
learn it’s not all mine. Then, I can more consciously decide how
I want to handle what I am experiencing.
I sometimes tell the
angels (or the Universe or the Creator or whatever is a
comfortable word) that I am willing to contribute to clearing
planetary energy, but I would like it to be in some way that is
not uncomfortable or debilitating for me. Or I ask the angels if
they would please help me release this from my own energy field.
~ Bonnie Hutchinson
"The collective energy
generated from the feelings, thoughts, and attitudes of the
almost six billion people on this planet creates an atmosphere
or 'consciousness climate.' Surrounding us like the air we
breathe, this consciousness climate affects us most strongly on
energetic and emotional levels."
-- Doc Childre and
Howard Martin
