I grew increasingly
worried and scared as my hands started to hurt more and more
every day. Through the pain, I was suddenly becoming aware of
everything I do with my hands, wondering how I would manage to
go on and thinking I was much too young to have hurting hands.
The words of a friend came
to mind: “When you are in pain, send light to the part of you
that is hurting.” A lot of relief and healing came from this
short, simple, and easy meditation. First, feet firmly on the
floor or on the soil to ground. Then inhaling, and exhaling.
Drawing divine healing energy specifically into my hands and
releasing the pain. Drawing divine life force into my hands, and
releasing the pain. Drawing bright, vibrant green, for healing,
into my hands, and releasing the pain. Drawing divine light into
my hands, and releasing the pain.
I know now that I have the
power to start healing myself, to at least, help myself. The
pain does go away when I choose to do the meditation, and if it
returns, it’s back to the basics, back to breathing, inhaling
healing energy and exhaling pain.
