operating in our lives, even when we're not
conscious of it.

Writing, Vision Boards and a
Radio Show!
I created a vision board at the
beginning of the year
and in
the corner and for no reason that I could quite
grasp I
added 'radio show' along with my expected things
--
published poet, the write stuff, etc.
Every update of that board
(there have been 3 this
year) I
have either put on 'radio show' or had it to put
on and then
replaced it with something else.
One of the things I've learned
is to "create a big
vision
and look for the next small step."
In early October I saw an advert
for the
LOA
Radio
Network and on checking
it out, I saw
that there were possible slots for new hosts. I
contacted
the network and asked what I needed to provide
in order to
be considered.
There was a long list of
criteria -- some of which I
did not
and could not fulfil -- but I looked at each of
the points
and offered alternative options to Jewels, the
network's
founder. I explained how my show would look,
what I would
include and why a 'down under' view could help
her
listeners. Jewels came back with a 'YES' and the
Creative
Soul Cafe was born!
The show went live on November
15th and will also be
played
on a community radio station in New Zealand --

A week later as I sat back in
shocked delight at the
way
things had moved so quickly, I wondered how I
would get the
show on the road when I had no real idea who I
would
interview!
I went back to my box where I
keep all the bits that
I cut
out as a pool for future vision boards. I guess
you could
say that the radio show was pretty high on my
priority as I
found 11 'radio shows' cut out!
Our journey takes us on many
roads, highways, byways
and
country lanes.
If we are too intent on getting
to our destination
and
controlling the pathway we think we should be
on, we miss
out on the beauty and joy that can be found on
the
meandering path.
