Jeddah is a 'normal' (what's normal?) woman and mother of 4 children who is enlightened. She defines enlightenment as the state of being that each of us has been all along. Enlightenment can't be described in words -- we must experience it for ourselves.

Jeddah is doing all she can to help us do that. With introductions and meditations, she guides us to use consciousness to explore the present moment and the existence that turns up within it. What turns up is an energy source she calls awareness.

She says, "Awareness is constantly present. It is always there and always available to us. It is not dependent on age or ability or education. It is something we are...

"From there we can explore all phenomena, all intention, our ability to reach out and start to create content out of our life. This is the medium in which this happens.

"Unless we understand the medium, the mechanism by which we are creating and participating in each moment, we'll always be confused by how the content of our life arises. We feel it's happening to us because we're not looking at the level of our being that is actually bringing it into being."

Our essential energy is expansive, harmonious and light-filled. When we use consciousness to allow these qualities to be present, the mind becomes still, calm and empty. We can then begin to experiment with intention and its power to create our experience. And we discover that everything we need is now in place.

I'm intrigued, and delighted to listen to someone who assures me that I don't need to be fixed!
