To support the women of my
circle, I do a short meditation every morning. I first welcome
each of them into my heart before affirming them and asking for
divine support for their respective intentions.
One day, in utter
amazement, I realized that I had been inspired to first welcome
myself in my heart! With the same love and respect that I have
for the women of my circle, I greeted myself: in a very timid
way at first – shocked, almost offended, that I should indulge
in such a way – I said the same things to myself that I say to
the other women, as if it were the most natural thing in the
world.
The same way I thank them,
I thanked myself for being a part of my life, for being there
for me, for supporting me, for my power to create beauty, for
the gifts I bring into this life. The same way I give love to
them, I gave love to myself…, and the same way I unconditionally
embrace them, I embraced myself.
I realized that morning
that I can be my first ally, my first support, my unconditional
friend, and that when I am, what I give the world is of much
higher quality.
